We would aim to intervene early in a period of sickness leave and offer ongoing support and assessment during the whole episode:

We offer advice to you as an employer in:
•  Assessing appropriateness of certification
•  Aiming to minimise length of absence with advice on modifications required to ensure early return to work
•  Liaising with employees doctors early on in sickness leave to reduce absence length
•  We offer advice on counselling services and assessment of requests for compassionate leave

We offer advice along with your legal advisers on ill health dismissal with particular reference to applicable legislation.
